The Gathering Barn
Our main reception space is where your guests will dine. Features of the 3 barns and grounds include:
Indoor Seating capacity: 75
Dance floor area: Optional dance floor when tables are not present in the Gathering Barn. Alternatives are in the yard or arena
Bar location: Bar is located in the stables
Catering access: Caterers are welcome to utilize the buffets in the Gathering Barn and food trucks are welcome as well.
Electrical access: There is a multitude of electrical access throughout the property and barns
Heating/cooling options: You are welcome to bring fans or heaters into the barns

Description: A gorgeous aisle of overhead trees lining an open field makes for a perfect ceremony site.
Capacity: This location is perfect for intimate ceremonies for up to 50 people

Option 2: Front grounds_______________
Description: sprawling front lawn shaded by majestic mature trees with wide, low-hanging branches that create a naturally enchanting canopy. Lush green space with timeless charm and gentle shade.

In the event of rain or severe weather, ceremony location changes will be discussed during your final planning meeting.
Backup locations: The stables have a warm rustic atmosphere, original wood beams, charming stall fronts and soft Edison lighting for a cozy, romantic glow. This space provides a one-of-a-kind backdrop for exchanging vows for a small ceremony of up to 30 people.
Alternatively, for couples looking for an unforgettable and authentic ceremony setting, our arena gives guests views of our beloved Highland cows, rustic charm, and shelter on rainy days, creating memorable photo opportunities and authentic elegance for up to 100 people.
You are welcome to rent a large tent for your wedding as there are multiple locations on the property to set this up as well.

Parking Information
Guest parking is located: next to driveway and in the field depending on the size of the event
Parking Guidelines:
Please follow posted signs and parking attendants when available.
Keep designated vendor and emergency access areas clear.
Guests should use caution when walking on gravel, grass, or uneven terrain.
Accessible parking is available upon request.
Restrooms
Restroom location: Plan for portable restrooms. 1 unit will be ordered by the venue at the cost of the client per 50-75 guests. Cost is $125-$250 per unit. If you would rather have a luxury restroom trailer, these are $900-$2500 depending on size and amenities. These include flushing toilets, running water, mirrors, climate control, interior lighting, music, and upscale finishes.guests views of our beloved Highland cows, rustic charm, and shelter on rainy days, creating memorable photo opportunities and authentic elegance for up to 200 people.
You are welcome to rent a large tent for your wedding as there are multiple locations on the property to set this up as well.

Bridal Suite Options
Option 1: Private Bridal Suite Experience
Optional Add-on: $500
Our private bridal suite is located within the owner's residence and is available as an exclusive upgrade for couples who would like the convenience of getting ready onsite. Due to the private nature of this space, access is limited to the bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, hair stylist, makeup artist, and photographer. This addition includes designated preparation areas, private restroom access, and a comfortable space to relax before the celebration begins.
The Private Bridal Suite Experience Includes:
Private access to large, vaulted bedroom/bathroom suite with a wall of sliding glass doors with a private back deck overlooking the back field.
Premium convenience (no driving elsewhere, private prep space)
Bridal party getting ready space

Beverage station with complimentary mimosas
Private restroom to use for duration of the wedding for the bridal party

Recommended Occupancy: 12 guests

Groom's Lounge
Optional Add-on: $200
The Groom's Lounge at Hearth & Barn provides a laid-back gathering space designed for the groom and his closest friends to get ready, spend time together, and make memories before the ceremony begins.
The Groom’s Lounge includes:
· Exclusive use of a private pool room for the groom and designated guests
· Full-size pool table for entertainment
· Comfortable lounge seating
· Dedicated bar/lounge space
· Complimentary bottle of whiskey provided for the groom and wedding party
· Space for approved beverages according to Hearth & Barn's alcohol policies
· Private bedroom area for changing and storing clothing and personal belongings
· Space for suits, shoes, accessories, and wedding day essentials
· Dedicated private bathroom available for the groom and groomsmen throughout the event
Recommended Occupancy: 12 guests
Access Begins: 4 hours before the ceremony begins
Access Ends: All belongings must be removed by 10pm the day of the ceremony
Investment: $200 + $50 cleaning fee

Hearth & Barn is a working farm, and our animals are part of what makes our venue unique.
Animal areas may include:
Highland cows, Goats, Ducks, Chickens, Mini Pigs, Peacocks, Donkeys, and Cats
Animal Interaction Guidelines:
Guests may only interact with animals in approved areas.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Feeding animals is only permitted with venue-approved treats and supervision.
Animals are unpredictable and should be treated with respect.
Do not enter animal enclosures without permission.

Your safety and the safety of your guests are our priority.
Emergency exits: The Gathering Barn includes two large barn doors and one man door. In the event of an emergency, the barn is easy to remove yourself from due to the large amount of doors. The fire extinguisher and exit sign are located next to the man door. During events, the barn doors will remain open as this is the main event space.
The Arena has 4 large barn doors and 2 man doors. In the event of an emergency, the barn is easy to remove yourself from due to the large amount of doors. The fire extinguisher and exit sign are located next to one of the man doors. During events, the barn doors will remain closed unless this barn is being used as discussed.
The Stables have 2 large barn doors, 1 small barn door and 2 man doors. In the event of an emergency, the barn is easy to remove yourself from due the large amount of doors. The fire extinguisher and exit sign are located next to one of the man doors. During events the 2 large barn doors will remain open as this space includes animals and a bar.
Fire extinguishers: There is a fire extinguisher located next to the man door in each barn
First aid kit location: There is a first aid kit located in the tack room in the stables
Emergency meeting location: In the event of a fire, the meeting location will be at the farm stand at the end of the driveway.
Nearest emergency services: Hickory Corner’s Fire Department is the nearest emergency department.

We want every wedding celebration at Hearth & Barn to be beautiful, memorable, and safe. Because our venue is located on a working farm with natural landscapes, animals, and unique property features, these guidelines help protect our couples, guests, vendors, and the farm itself.
By hosting your event at Hearth & Barn, you agree to follow these policies and communicate them to your wedding party, guests, and vendors.
Alcohol Policy
Hearth & Barn does not hold a liquor license and does not sell, provide, serve, or supply alcoholic beverages for events held on the property.
Couples who choose to include alcohol at their celebration are responsible for ensuring all alcohol-related activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and venue requirements.
Alcohol Guidelines
Alcohol may only be present and consumed as permitted under applicable laws.
Hearth & Barn does not purchase, provide, sell, distribute, or serve alcohol.
Guests may not sell alcoholic beverages on the property.
Alcohol service must not be conducted in a manner that creates a commercial bar operation unless all required licensing and approvals are obtained.
The couple is responsible for determining appropriate arrangements for any alcohol present at their event.
The couple is responsible for communicating alcohol expectations to guests and vendors.
Guests must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol.
Guests may not provide alcohol to minors.
Excessive drinking, unsafe behavior, or disorderly conduct will not be permitted.
Hearth & Barn reserves the right to require unsafe activities to stop or require individuals creating a safety concern to leave the property.
Bartenders & Alcohol Assistance
If a couple chooses to have assistance with beverages, they are responsible for ensuring any bartender, beverage attendant, or service provider meets all applicable legal requirements and venue expectations.
Hearth & Barn does not act as the alcohol provider, seller, or alcohol service provider.
Alcohol in Private Suites
For couples utilizing the Bridal Suite or Groom's Lounge:
Any alcohol present in private preparation areas remains the responsibility of the couple and their guests.
Alcohol consumption must remain responsible and appropriate.
Alcohol may not be taken into restricted areas or areas not approved for event use.
The couple is responsible for ensuring all guests follow venue policies.
Smoking & Vaping Policy
To protect our guests, animals, and property, smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.
Guidelines:
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all buildings and barns.
Cigarette butts must be disposed of in fire pits and provided buckets.
Guests may not smoke near barns, animals, hay, landscaping, or flammable materials.
No smoking is permitted while interacting with animals.
Candles, Open Flames & Fire Safety
Because Hearth & Barn includes rustic structures and agricultural areas, open flames require approval.
The following are prohibited unless specifically approved:
Open candles
Taper candles
Sterno burners
Torches
Unapproved flame décor
Approved alternatives may include:
LED candles
Battery-operated lighting
Enclosed candle holders approved by the venue
Any approved flame source must be attended at all times.
Fire Pits & Bonfires
Fire pits and bonfires may be available as an approved add-on.
Requirements:
Only venue-approved fire areas may be used.
Fires must be supervised.
Guests may not move fire pits or create additional fires.
Weather conditions may require cancellation due to wind, drought, or safety concerns.
Children must be supervised around fire areas.
Only approved firewood may be used.
Sparklers
Sparklers are allowed only with prior written approval.
Requirements:
Must be used in a designated location.
Must have a designated adult responsible for supervision.
Must be properly disposed of.
Guests may not use sparklers near barns, animals, vehicles, or dry vegetation.
Weather conditions may prohibit use.
Fireworks & Explosives
Due to safety concerns, fireworks, firecrackers, smoke bombs, and explosive devices are prohibited.
This includes:

Exploding confetti devices

Pets & Animals
We love animals at Hearth & Barn, but we must prioritize the safety of guests, pets, and farm animals.
Pets:
Pets are only permitted with prior approval.
Service animals are welcome with appropriate accommodations.
Pets must remain supervised.
Owners are responsible for cleanup.
Pets may not enter animal areas.
Aggressive or disruptive animals may be removed.
Farm Animals & Animal Interaction

Children must be supervised around animals.

Leaving designated areas free of debris

Noise Ordinance & Music
Hearth & Barn wants guests to enjoy their celebration while respecting surrounding neighbors.
Guidelines:
Music must remain at appropriate levels.
DJ and entertainment providers must follow venue guidelines.
Outdoor amplified music may have time restrictions.
All events must comply with local noise ordinances.
Outdoor music ends: 10pm
Event End Time
All celebrations must end at the contracted time.
At the conclusion of your event:
Guests must begin departing.
Vendors begin breakdown.
Personal items must be removed.
Venue spaces must be cleared according to your agreement.
Additional time may be available for an additional fee if arranged in advance.

To help protect you, your guests, and our property, all weddings and private events at Hearth & Barn are required to carry event liability insurance.
It's typically affordable ($120-$190), easy to purchase online, and only takes a few minutes to arrange.
Our goal is for you to enjoy your day with peace of mind, knowing everyone is protected..
We want the booking process to be as manageable as possible, so we've broken payments into a simple schedule.
25% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to reserve your date.
50% of your total balance is due 6 months before your wedding.
75% of your total balance is due 90 days before your wedding.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
This payment schedule allows you to spread out the cost while ensuring everything is in place well before your big day. If you have any questions about your payments, we're always happy to help.
